Einkehrschwung: Weinberg Arlberg takes to the slopes in 2026
Weinberg Arlberg understands enjoyment not as separate from the place, but as part of the overall experience. Great wines, cuisine, hospitality, and the Arlberg belong inseparably together, and the core of the Arlberg remains skiing. From this position, together with Skipool West, a new format within the programme has developed: the 'Einkehrschwung'.
The idea behind it is deliberately simple. Instead of tasting rooms and set dinners, the focus is on ski days, shared runs, and the particular atmosphere of the mountain huts. Many of the most beautiful culinary places on the Arlberg cannot be reached by car, but only on skis.
Between snowy slopes, long lunches, and spontaneous conversations, the moments that Weinberg Arlberg is meant to be about often arise: personal, relaxed, and approachable.
The cooperation with Ski Arlberg West creates the ideal framework. As Destination Partner, the team combines alpine know-how with the particular culture of skiing in Lech Zürs. 'The Arlberg has always been more than just skiing. Good hosts, cuisine, and the shared stop on the mountain have always been as much part of the culture of skiing as the slopes themselves.' — Klaus Huber, Skipool West
The Einkehrschwung will be realised in 2026 in two different formats. On one hand, as guided ski days with figures from the wine world and a subsequent lunch on selected huts. On the other hand, in cooperation with the partner region Alsace, which on several ski huts pours Crémant d'Alsace as an aperitif for lunch guests and brings a piece of French enjoyment culture to the mountain.
