Hans Martin Gesellmann

Hans Martin Gesellmann is a wine expert, writer, and, from September 2026, Co-Editor-in-Chief Wine Austria at Falstaff alongside Peter Moser. Originally from Burgenland, he has built a long career in the wine trade. He spent many years in a senior role at Wein & Co and most recently headed sales at Kracher Fine Wine, the wine merchant founded by Gerhard and Yvonne Kracher. His particular areas of expertise include French and Californian wines. In addition to his work in the trade, Gesellmann regularly writes for Schweizer Weinzeitung, giving him extensive experience as a wine author. At Falstaff, he joins the wine editorial team as a voice of the next generation.
