Critic, Author & Master of Wine

Anne Krebiehl MW is a freelance wine writer, lecturer, and judge. She is the editor for Germany, Austria, Alsace, England, and Grower Champagne at Vinous Media. Her freelance work is widely published in both trade and consumer publications, and she lectures internationally, judges at wine competitions, and serves as a panel chair at the International Wine Challenge. Her work often focuses on high-acid wines, particularly Pinot Noir, Riesling, and traditional-method sparkling wines. She has also harvested and helped make wine in New Zealand, Germany, and Italy. Her first book, The Wines of Germany, was published in 2019 in Infinite Ideas’ Classic Wine Library and won International Wine Book of the Year at the 2020 Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards.
