Details
The Kristberg in Lech, founded in 1966 by skiing legend Egon Zimmermann and today run by Michael and Christiane Zimmermann, combines its sporting history with an independent, contemporary reinterpretation. With the new building, the house has been developed further deliberately, without losing its character as a lively meeting point in Lech.
Architecture and design follow a clear position: high-quality, restrained, and consciously free of alpine cliché. Warm colours, generous spaces, and a subtle return to the 1960s and 1970s shape the atmosphere: relaxed, self-assured, and unpretentious.
Central to the house is its role as a social place: the newly interpreted Scotch Club takes up the history of the house and is once again developing into a meeting point where dinner, drinks, and music move into one another. This is complemented by the open Lech Salon, which addresses both house guests and visitors with a flexible, contemporary gastronomy concept and underscores the character of the house as a place of encounter.
