Frank Schönleber leads VDP.Weingut Emrich-Schönleber in Monzingen on the Nahe today as owner and cellarmaster. The family estate cultivates around 20 hectares of vineyards, with Riesling as its clear leading variety, complemented by Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. The name Emrich-Schönleber is particularly closely associated with the top Monzingen sites Halenberg and Frühlingsplätzchen, which produce some of Germany’s most distinctive dry Rieslings. Frank Schönleber’s work centres on origin, precision, and the individuality of Monzingen’s soils. The estate has been a member of the VDP since 1994.
