Köstlicher Ring: Group 13:15
An experience for all the senses and an afternoon on which Lech shows how closely cuisine and wine are linked by time. Four houses, four stations, four chefs, and four winemakers, united under the theme „Time matters: how time shapes flavour“.
At the Köstlicher Ring 2026, food lovers set out on a culinary journey through Lech, inspired by the legendary „Weißer Ring“. Each station addresses, in its own way, how time shapes flavour: through ageing, through fermentation, through slow cooking, or through the perfect moment.
In the kitchens, dishes are created that depend on patience and precision, accompanied by wines whose depth comes from origin, ageing, and bottle maturity. From the Pfalz across the Bündner Herrschaft to the Danube and the Douro Valley, renowned estates such as Ökonomierat Rebholz, Donatsch, F.X. Pichler, and Quinta do Vallado show how differently time can work in wine.
Each stop becomes an encounter with winemakers and chefs who make their interpretation of this theme personally tangible. An afternoon that shows great flavour is not only a question of ingredients but, above all, a question of time.
