Giovanni Gaja represents the fifth generation of the Gaja family in Barbaresco. After studying economics and management at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, he gained experience in the international wine trade in London and New York, with a particular focus on import and distribution. After returning to Italy, he began representing his family’s wines around the world and developing new markets. Today, together with his parents and sisters, he is involved across the family’s estates. As co-proprietor, he helps carry the legacy of the family company, founded in 1859, into the next generation.
