Jean-Frédéric Hugel

Jean-Frédéric Hugel belongs to the 13th generation of the Hugel family in Riquewihr, Alsace. The family estate was founded in 1639 and is one of the historic names of the region. After studying marketing and business in Strasbourg, Jean-Frédéric Hugel joined the family business full-time in 2010. Today, he represents Famille Hugel internationally, looks after key export markets, and spends much of the year travelling. In Riquewihr, he is also involved in the daily life of the estate, from tastings to harvest. Famille Hugel stands for classic Alsace grape varieties, strong international presence, and a style shaped by tradition, precision, and global resonance.
