Tobias Knewitz
New Generation Rheinhessen
Tobias Knewitz is considered one of the most exciting young winemakers in Rheinhessen. Together with his wife Corina, he runs the family estate Knewitz in Appenheim, which has earned an outstanding reputation in recent years for its precise, mineral-driven and characterful wines. Particular focus is placed on the limestone-rich vineyards surrounding the Westerberg, which give the estate’s Rieslings and Pinot varieties their distinctive tension and elegance.
Tobias also works closely with his brother Björn, making Knewitz a true family-driven winery. Together, they represent a modern, terroir-focused style and have become one of the leading voices of the new generation in Rheinhessen.
