Michael Tischler-Zimmermann

Michael Tischler-Zimmermann has been Managing Director of the Österreichische Traditionsweingüter since 2024. After completing a Master’s degree in Export Management at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, he began his career in wine in marketing and sales at the Kamptal estate Weszeli. He then spent more than seven years in senior positions at Austrian Wine Marketing. As the first full-time Managing Director of the ÖTW, he now supports the development of an association that has worked on the classification of Austrian vineyard sites since 1991. His focus lies on origin, communication, international positioning, and making Austria’s best sites understandable for both professionals and the wider public.
