Frédéric Faye
General Manager Château-Figeac
Frédéric Faye is General Manager of Château-Figeac in Saint-Émilion. An agricultural engineer and graduate of Sciences Agro Bordeaux, he joined the estate as a trainee in 2002, became Vineyard Manager in 2008, Technical Director in 2010, and took over the operational management of Château-Figeac in 2013. Under his responsibility, the work in both vineyard and cellar has been further refined; in 2022, Château-Figeac was elevated to Premier Grand Cru Classé A. Together with the Manoncourt family, Faye now shapes the modern development of one of Saint-Émilion’s most distinctive terroirs, whose gravel soils and high proportion of Cabernet give Château-Figeac a singular position on the Right Bank.
