Jean-Baptiste Cordonnier
Vigneron with an Agroecological Vision
Jean-Baptiste Cordonnier is the vigneron behind Château Anthonic in Moulis-en-Médoc. Together with Nathalie Cordonnier, he took over the family estate in 1993 and developed it into one of the Médoc’s most distinctive properties. Shaped by his studies in agricultural engineering and his interest in water, forests and living ecosystems, Cordonnier has long focused on organic farming, agroforestry and regenerative approaches in the vineyard. Château Anthonic has been certified organic since 2019 and is regarded as a pioneer of agroforestry in the Médoc. Cordonnier represents a Bordeaux perspective centred on origin, biodiversity and living soils.
