Nicolas Glumineau

Nicolas Glumineau is General Manager and Winemaker of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in Pauillac and Château de Pez in Saint-Estèphe. He studied oenology in Bordeaux with Denis Dubourdieu, completed a Master’s degree in genetics applied to oenology, and continued his training at the École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique in Montpellier. His career took him to Château Haut-Brion, Château Margaux, and Château Montrose, among others. Since 2012, he has led Pichon Comtesse, part of the Roederer Collection, where he has shaped a precise and elegant interpretation of Pauillac, based on detailed parcel work, modernised cellar facilities, and a clear focus on origin and finesse.
