Few chefs have shaped Portugal’s fine dining landscape as profoundly as Dieter Koschina. For decades, the Austrian-born chef has been the creative force behind Vila Joya in the Algarve, earning international acclaim and two Michelin stars for his distinctive cuisine that combines precision, elegance and bold flavour.
Since 15 years, Koschina comes to Hotel Mondschein in Stuben for one special evening to create an exclusive grand menu that brings together Alpine products and international inspiration. His cooking is characterised by technical mastery, clarity and a deep respect for ingredients – resulting in dishes that are both sophisticated and deeply satisfying.
The evening is accompanied by wines from the renowned Douro Boys, the group of pioneering family wineries that has played a decisive role in establishing Portugal’s Douro Valley among the world’s great wine regions. Their wines combine heritage, character and a strong sense of place, providing an ideal match for Koschina’s cuisine.
