Meeting top winemakers in Lech in 2026

Major names, short distances and room for personal encounters

Weinberg Arlberg does not see itself as a classical wine fair. Size and quantity are not at the centre, but the quality of the encounters.

It is precisely for this reason that it is significant that many of the most defining figures of the international wine world come to Lech in person. Not brand ambassadors, export managers, or external moderators, but owners, directors, and the people who actually shape and develop their estates.

The line-up includes figures who have shaped their regions and stylistics over decades, and whose influence reaches far beyond their origin.

What makes Weinberg Arlberg particular is the framework. The events are deliberately small, the distances in Lech are short, and the transitions between tasting, dinner, conversation, and encounter are fluid. This creates something that is often lost at large wine events: genuine proximity and personal exchange.

Not infrequently, the most interesting conversations happen not on the panel, but by chance, after a tasting, at the bar, or on the way through the village.
